Majors Management is a fuel distributor and convenience store operator doing business in 20 states. One of the dealers in its fuel network is Velocity Stores, which operates stations in Texas.

Diamond Vinson oversees dealer operations for Majors Management. He sees how competitive the industry has gotten recently, and he recognizes how important it is for both dealers and wholesalers to differentiate their businesses in this crowded space. To help win more visits from uncommitted customers, he encourages his dealers to join Upside.

“For dealers who are looking to grow their business and find ways to set themselves apart from every dealer store out there, Upside gives them unique opportunities to pinpoint promotions, be very detailed and practical, and make sure it’s a profitable promotion for them,” he said.

Khaled Ornob, the chief of fueling at Velocity Stores, also likes that Upside offers him the ability to block his competition from joining the marketplace.

“In one 40- or 50-mile radius, I’m the only guy there with seven or eight sites on Upside,” Ornob said. “There’s nobody else who can tap in and take that incremental value, incremental profit that’s over there... Once I saw that Upside effect, I was shocked.”
